If the plasma sounds like it is shooting cotton wool i am done with it. I am pretty sure that i would not enjoy 2016 or Eternal. I also saw spells and magic in Eternal iirc. This feels a little like with Diablo 3 which was invaded by WoW. See the double barreled shotgun having some medival looking bayonett thing on it. Plus this thread moves so quickly that details like that get lost in the shuffle most of the time. Yeah, it's always been, but it's also nice to have a consolidated thread that focuses on GOG-specific deals, sales and discussion. See the way points which takes away the need to think by yourself and thus reduces the connectedness to the game. I mean, this already is more a PC gaming thread than a Steam thread. See the walking speed which is like in Counter Strike. There a knights which attacking with a sword and having a shield wtf. In Eternal i see all the enemies talk like in Skyrim. The enemies did never light up and they only dropped that kind of ammunition that they were using for their own weapons and the dropped items did not look like they where shiny toys. See how they drop random colorful items that glow. See how the enemies light up like christmas trees. Compare the sound of Doom 1/2 plasma with that of the Doom 2016/Eternal plasma. It starts with the plasma first and for most.
Only watched videos and decided it’s not worth it. Have not played neither of the two though.
